Theodore 1922 is a quality, independent menswear store located on Bloor, just a 5 minute walk from the Spadina/Bloor TTC stop. I "discovered" this place because this is where ETON told me to go buy their high quality shirts in Toronto.

Miranda the store owner goes out of her way to give you that extra bit of personal attention that you can't get from a big box store. She also is a good source of critical style/fit advice. Often when you call the store to check on alterations, Miranda will often pick up the phone. Frankly I like visiting independent shops where the owner is really part of the business. I like to give stores like this my business otherwise give us options. Otherwise we all will look like we went shopping at THE MALL.

My go to store for all things. The staff is amazing, the clothing truly world class, and the atmosphere is superb.

I have been going to Theodore 1922 for 3 years now and absolutely love the style and feel of this store.  The atmosphere is fun and laid back and Miranda and her staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.  This is my go to shop when I am looking for something of quality that fits properly - they have a tailor shop in the store.  They also have a great selection of jeans and casual wear.  Excellent boutique menswear.

One of the finest curated men's clothing stores in Toronto.  Miranda Black's sense of design keeps her customers on the leading edge of fashion while maintaining a decorum that can take them anywhere in business or leisure circles.  She offers attention to detail and customer satisfaction and makes it fun!  I say look no further for both superior quality ready made and made to measure excellence and style!

Love this store! I lived nearby for 3 years, but I never stopped in as I had no reason to buy menswear. I was actually sent here on a mystery shopping assignment so I finally had to chance to scope it out. The have a wide variety of high end suits, mens dress shirts, pants and accessories (ties, belts, cufflinks, etc). The prominent brands here seem to be Eton and SAND.

Everything is displayed by colour here, brands are mixed around but assembled in eye-pleasing displays. 

The owner was there and she was exceptionally knowledgeable about all the merchandise, which made the shopping experience top-notch. They have a basement room where they do custom tailoring and adjustments. 

Great place to purchase something very high end (we're talking dress shirts as high as $300) but very unique. Harry Rosen doesn't carry any of this stuff. A lot of the colours and patterns are WILD (think flaming homosexual) but there is a great selection of more neutral looking stuff too.

Miranda and her team were great in helping us select the perfect Samuelsohn fabrics, colours and design details for the groom's, best man's and my suit for my son's wedding. Custom made to measure and expertly finished on site to perfect the look and fit for each of us. I topped off my choice with a gorgeous pair of Amethyst cuff links from her terrific accessories collection. Formal or casual, their relaxed manner, expert fashion sense and ability to source great brands, styles, textures and colours will serve you best. Truly one of the most outstanding men's quality clothing boutiques in Toronto.

I have been buying my clothes from T22 for almost ten years.  The selection is always outstanding, coming from top of the line mens' clothing companies.  The service is always so personal and friendly and you get fitted by the in house tailor.  Thank you Miranda, Stephanie and Pasquale.

I love the no pressure, relaxed feel to the store, as well as the quality and selection. I would/will return without hesitation.

Went to Theodore 1922 on a recent trip to Toronto. The store is great and the collection is very well selected. It is definitely higher end than your usual off the street clothing store, but if you are into quality and style, I definitely recommend a stop here.

The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant to shop with and were able to predict what I would like on the second try (yes, I bought the jacket).

I have been stopping in here for years to pick up gifts for friends, and it's the first place I send any friends who appreciate fine men's clothing. The owner is often there, has a great eye, and is lovely to deal with, though I've always had a good experience with anyone working here. Definitely higher-end products, but gorgeous design, and good quality. Would definitely recommend.
