Miranda the store owner goes out of her way to give you that extra bit of personal attention that you can't get from a big box store. She also is a good source of critical style/fit advice. Often when you call the store to check on alterations, Miranda will often pick up the phone. Frankly I like visiting independent shops where the owner is really part of the business.
